Yesterday was our final round of this years club championship at iRC offroad and we had perfect weather, a big turnout and alot of fun to finish up the year. In EP8 i was able to TQ with 3 11 lap runs but in the finals it really started to heat up with Peter O'Brien, Monty Nguyen and Len Cowan all driving hard and making it a great battle through the finals. I took the win in final 1 and 3 giving me the overall win, with Peter O'Brien winning final 2.
I was also able to take out this years EP8 club championship making it 6 years in a row, with Corey Ellis in 2nd and Monty Nguyen taking 3rd.
Thanks iRC offroad for another great year. This club really is getting bigger and stronger every year. Thanks to the committee and all the volunteers for all the work that has been put in this year, even with covid its still been very well run. Thank you to Angelo Jlo Anasta at Hobbywing/ProAmps Australia. My electronics have been top notch this year and i appreciate all your help with set up and avice this year. Massive thankyou to Theo Assa for again having me on the SOAR Speedbull Australia team and VP-Pro Tyres. The buggy really has continued to prove its 1st class and the tyres selections cover all conditions.
Next stop will be the Clay Cup in Canberra next weekend and then the SOAR Xmas party race back at iRC to finish up the year.
